Acoustic Furniture

You’ll find this under Interior Design Resources / FF&E Resources / Furniture, Fixtures Equipment, Accessories

How I’ve organized the resources

I’ve organized the bookmarks under several nested collections:

  • FF&E Resources - this is where you’ll find links to vendors for furniture, fixtures, equipment and accessories, finishes, enclosures and openings, etc. Everytime I come across a commercial-grade company that I can source for current or future FF&E selections, I bookmark them here.

  • Technology (CAD, REVIT, Sketchup, etc) - this is where you’ll find links to helpful software, Revit family search sites, materials + textures (to use for rendering), and more.

  • Technical Resources - Includes calculators, codes + spec tools, estimating tools, research sites, etc.

  • Design + Presentation Tools - Fonts, colour tools, royalty free images, rendering/drawing tutorials, etc.

  • Community Resources - Magazines, design inspiration, and other community resources.

Under each nested collection are more nested collections. For example, under the Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment, Accessories collection are collections for:

Keep drilling down into the nested collections until there aren’t any more nested collections and you’ll find the entire grouping of bookmarks for that collection.

Ways to Search/Browse

You can search for resources by:

  • Clicking the little 🔍 icon tool and just type something you’re looking for

  • Clicking on a #TAG you see under a resource (I’m in the middle of thoroughly tagging all of the resources, but it takes time). I’m tagging for:

  • Changing the sorting function on the dropdown to the right of the bookmarks - alphabetical, newest, oldest, etc.

FWIW, the basic search is pretty good for general things like looking for product types or compliance (if my tagging has fallen short)

Save links and collections

If you want to save any bookmark, just click on the star to the right of the link and save it to your own collection.

Also, if you want to duplicate my work, that’s okay. If you want to copy my collections as your own (to tag for your own purposes or the like), I think you just need to sign up to Raindrop.io (it’s free) and I think you can clone my work for your own. (This is not sponsored)

If you don’t want to sign up and just want the collection, I am able to export nested collections and the general HTML file and send it to you.
